1993 March 16th in a spring snow storm out of my beloved Strela.

There were 6 puppies:    Sergei,  Sabaka, Sydell, Severina, Sarafina, and Sharlotte.

Ch. SVershin's Sydell

She became the first bitch to be bred to Mozart and the mother of my M litter.

1993/03 to 2007/02 she gave us 14 years

Sydell had the most incredible side gait.  She had perfect hock extension and did an effortless and true flying trot.  Look at the picture below closely and you will see that she is not supported by even one foot at the point of full spread.  

She made it to 14 years old.  I will never forget my Sydell.

Handsome Sergei has the distinction of winning the Borzoi Club of America's Versatility Dog of the Year Award the first year it was offered in 1996;  AND! he won it a second year in a row in 1997!

Sergei was taken to his titles and loved by Brenda Wendt
